Last night Brandi and I drove up to Bowling Green, KY to meet out good friends Kevin and Amy Colon. Kevin was my college roommate and is now pastoring a great church he started several years ago called Cool River Church in Superior, Colorado.

It was fun to walk around the WKU campus where we all went to school together. God did a lot of cool things in my life during my time there.

On this campus…

-I felt God’s call to go into ministry.

-I met and fell in love with my wife.

-I made so many life long friends.

-I led my first discipleship group.

-I really began a deep, personal relationship with God.

If you’ve spent a lot of time around me you’ve probably heard the story of how I met Brandi and how our relationship started. If not here’s part of the story that Kevin and I re-acted. You’ll enjoy this action packed story that involves one engaged Brandi, a large WKU football player, and a tree between our two dorms.
