Dominican Night Life

As you might imagine, at night our group is tired. Very tired. The days our long, and hot, and very sweaty.

However, we still have a blast just hanging out. This trip we’ve spent some time at night just sitting around and making up songs. Thought you might want to check this out. Allow me to be the first to introduce this talent we’ve called “The Internationals”. This is like Menudo on steroids. You’ll notice our own Richard Hummel on guitar!

Sunday Morning Time Lapse

So Los inspired me to give this a shot. Using the program he suggested, I did a time-lapse video of a Sunday morning in my life @ Cross Point. Hope you enjoy!

The B-Day Party I Will Never Forget

Today Jett and Brewer turn 7 and 2 respectively. I love you guys very much and am so proud of the young men you are becoming.

Although, Jett isn’t real cool with it, I think it’s kind of neat that they both share the same birthday.

I will never forget Jett’s five year old birthday party. We were at Say Cheese and getting ready to cut the cake when Brandi’s water broke. I just happened to catch the whole thing on video. So here is the never before released footage that I shot on my phone (she is going to love me for this).

Do you have any good B-Day party memories?

Blogging Etiquette

I love this blog and this blog. I read both their blogs almost everyday, despite the fact some of my friends are threatening to take away my “man card”. These ladies do a great job of inviting people into the blog community they have created. Drop in and join one of their interesting conversations, they love comments!

Watch the video below and they will help you with your blogging etiquette (and make you laugh).

What blog do you read everyday?

Watch this…

Last week at Cross Point we did the Foo Fighters song “Best of You.” We are in a series entitled, “Cure for the Common Life,” and the message was on discovering your calling. I ended the message by calling our community to give God the best of their spiritual gifts, the best of their resources, the best of their time, and the best of who they are for the glory of God. Then the music team did this….holy cow![youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHmSFyg298A] Are you giving God your best?
