Today Jett and Brewer turn 7 and 2 respectively. I love you guys very much and am so proud of the young men you are becoming.
Although, Jett isn’t real cool with it, I think it’s kind of neat that they both share the same birthday.
I will never forget Jett’s five year old birthday party. We were at Say Cheese and getting ready to cut the cake when Brandi’s water broke. I just happened to catch the whole thing on video. So here is the never before released footage that I shot on my phone (she is going to love me for this).
I love this blog and this blog. I read both their blogs almost everyday, despite the fact some of my friends are threatening to take away my “man card”. Last week at Cross Point we did the Foo Fighters song “Best of You.” We are in a series entitled, “Cure for the Common Life,” and the message was on discovering your calling. I ended the message by calling our community to give God the best of their spiritual gifts, the best of their resources, the best of their time, and the best of who they are for the glory of God.
