This Weeks Rundown

I’ve got  a busy week and I thought I would give you a quick rundown in hopes that maybe you’ll be near me and drop in to say “Hey.”

This morning I’m flying to Dallas to speak at Power Lunch at Prestonwood Baptist Church.

I’ve followed this church and their pastor, Dr. Jack Graham, for years. Pastor Jack has encouraged me in so many different ways through his powerful messages.  It’s a real honor to be with them. If you’re in the Dallas area drop by and join us at 12:00. After I speak I’ll be hanging out and would love the chance to meet you.

On Wednesday I’ll be in Orangeburg, South Carolina at Cornerstone Community Church for the Sticks Conference. One of my favorite groups of people to hang out with is fellow church planters.  The Sticks is a conference for those in small to medium sized towns who have tremendous passion, insight, leadership and knowledge to reach areas of the country no one else dares to reach.  So looking forward to some time with you guys and can’t wait to see what God is going to do in all of our lives.

On Thursday night I’ll be back in Nashville to speak at Trevecca Nazarene University. I love speaking to college kids as I feel like they’re in a critical season of life. They’re making some of the most important decisions that will shape the rest of their lives. This a special university for me as my dad is the Director of Graduate Psychology as well as a professor there. This will be my first time on their campus in any kind of official capacity and I’m really looking forward to meeting some of the students and faculty.

The Sticks

The very first church I planted was in Morgantown, Kentucky. The entire county had 12,000 people in it and the town of Morgantown actually has around 3,000 people in the city limits. My five years there was some of the most incredible and challenging times in ministry.

That’s why I’m so excited to be speaking at the Stick Conference on November 9-10.

The sticks is a conference for those in small to medium sized towns who have tremendous passion, insight, leadership and knowledge to reach areas of the country no one else dares to reach. There will be some great main sessions and just check out a few of the breakouts they offer:
