I read that one-time presidential candidate Rev. Pat Robertson, who has long made controversial moral pronouncements on topics from Alzheimer’s to the weather, says no more political endorsements from now on.

Robertson, who’s now 81, told the AP this weekend…

“I’ve personally backed off from direct political involvement. I’ve been there, done that. The truth of the matter is politics is not going to change our world. It’s really not going to make that much of a difference.”

I’m quite confident there’s a lot Pat and I would disagree on, but I find myself in this situation wanting to give him a hearty “Amen.”
