Almost 12 years ago I planted my first garden. I’ve had one every summer since. There is something about planting and keeping up a garden I really enjoy. This year was really cool because Jett is taking an interest and helped me plant.
Here are the updated pictures. A few rows of corn, squash, cucumbers, green beans, tomatoes, and radishes. If you’re in the Nashville area you’ll have to stop by in a few months. I love giving vegetables away!

Steven Curtis Chapman’s youngest child died Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a car driven by her teenage brother in the driveway of the family’s Williamson County home.
Maria, one of the Christian singer’s six children, was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Hospital, which confirmed the death, according to Laura McPherson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Steven Curtis Chapman has always held a special place in my heart. He was the first Christian artist that I ever remember listening to. His music has encouraged me in so many ways throughout the years. Please keep this family in your prayers. I can’t imagine the hurt, confusion, anger, and pain they must be feeling right now.
Last night we were at my dad’s house when Gage came running inside with blood streaming down his face. He was screaming that Jett pushed the swing (big tree swing) and it hit him in the head. Luckily, my sister, Kristi, who is a physicians assistant, was there to help clean him up. Five minutes later he said “I’m okay!” and ran back outside to play on the swing some more.
Oh, and just to clarify: I asked Jett what happened and he said he’s pretty sure the wind blew that swing into Gage’s head. Good to know.

This is what happens when we stay up too late with the boys. Jett is totally in love with Taylor Swift and the following is his rendition of his favorite song. We were kind of bored Friday night so we decided to play a little Karaoke @ the Wilsons. Aren’t you glad they didn’t have You Tube when we were kids? So watch the video and then tell me, what would you like to see us perform next?

Gage turned four last week and Brewer is turning two really soon. We had a blast last night celebrating their precious lives and what they both mean to us. Wish you could have all celebrated with us, but here are a bunch of pictures so you can share in our experience. Happy birthday boys!
