I can’t tell you how much I enjoy working with our creative team at Cross Point. They stretch me, challenge me, encourage me and inspire me in so many different ways. They work extremely hard to find ways to creatively communicate the life changing Gospel of Christ.
This past Sunday we launched our new series entitled Hope Now. Here is a video of the song they pulled off which included our first rap. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, though I’m still a little bitter they let Vega do the rap instead of me.
Just curious. What style of music would you say you listen to most often?
I’m more of a pop guy although I’ll admit I’ve been on a country streak this week.
What a Team

I can’t tell you how blessed I am to work with such an incredible group of people at Cross Point. I believe God has assembled one of the best teams I have ever seen. I want to introduce you today to our “Creative Team.” This team (pictured from left to right) is made up of Matt Singleton (Creative Director), Butch Simmons (Dickson Campus Music Team Coordinator,) Miranda Telford (Creative Arts Assistant) and Jarrod Morris (Music Director.)
I have the privilege of working very closely with this team on a daily basis as we seek to create an authentic environment of worship and life change here in Nashville as well as in Dickson. This week we are planning out the final elements for our next series entitled “Drift” (more about that later). They amaze me with their creativity and passion to communicate the life-changing message of God’s Word.
They are often the unseen, hard-working creative minds behind the scenes, but make no doubt about it, they are making a huge impact on our community. Keep up the great work, guys! You’re inspiring all of us to become more radically devoted to Christ, irrevocably committed to one another and relentlessly dedicated to reaching the lost. You’re adding color to our journey.
