-Watched more movies that weren’t from Disney
-Walk around the mall and without having to take a kid to the bathroom every five minutes
-Go out to eat and not having to spend half our time saying “shhhhhh” and picking food up off the ground
While I really can’t remember life before kids I can guarantee you it was not as much fun as this. Here’s about two minutes of the 30 minute dance routine Brewer has been doing for us the last couple of nights. I taught him all of his moves.

So what did you do before you had kids?
One of my favorite things about being a pastor is helping people discover their gifts, abilities and purpose. I love watching people find their sweet spot in life.
Likewise it’s been fun as a dad to watch my boys as they grow up and develop their unique giftedness. I pray almost every day that God will help me encourage them in such a way as to use their gifts to bless the people around them.
Our youngest, Brewer, is full of energy, determination, and focus. Lately, he’s been singing a lot. A whole lot. I thought I would give you a sample. Jury is still out on whether or not this is going to be a gift of his or not. I think his oldest brother might have given him a few lessons.

Yesterday, Brandi and the boys were baking a cake and Gage and Brewer got to do what they do best… lick the icing off the beaters from the mixer!
One of our neighbors walked down the other day with their new puppy, Roxy. Brewer couldn’t get enough of her. I don’t know whose cuter, Brewer or Roxy? Do you remember your first pet?
