One of my highlights over the past few years has been the Uprising Conference. Pete Hise and his team at Quest Community Church are absolutely amazing. The work they’re doing in Lexington, Kentucky (one of my favorite cities in America) is out of this world! I always leave with a renewed passion to reach our city with the hope of Christ.
–On April 15, 2010, The Uprising launched — a gathering to awaken the revolutionary spirit God has placed within church leaders to change the world. Almost 900 pastors and church leaders came ready — and God showed up. They left unhinged, hearts breaking for the lost, and ready to light the beacons of hope for people far from God.
–On April 14, 2011, it happened again. Over 1000 pastors and church leaders returned to the second annual Uprising, igniting a new wave of change and evangelistic momentum in local churches across America and around the world.
–On April 19, 2012, we are coming together to be equipped and emboldened to reach our communities for Christ by creating loving cultures of redemption in our local churches. Together, we are asking Jesus to help us recover the dream — the dream Jesus gave us when He invited us into His mission to change the world for the cause of Christ.
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be back at Uprising again this year on April 19th!
