It’s taken a long time to find my “frequency.” Another word is values. Who I am and how I want to show up with friends and clients. Aligning my values with the actions I take. The moment I discovered my identity I surrendered, my life changed. Everything became easier in both my personal and business life. We’re all unique and there will never be another one like us. God is the architect. It’s extremely hard being someone that you’re not. I have a fun fact about your online frequency: did you know your .tv domain name was sold by the island atoll of Tuvalu to pay for its ascendancy to the United Nations?
The now self governing Polynesian nation is a former British colony previously known as Ellice Island.
Islanders became concerned about climate change, because they stand to loose their territory to rising sea levels.
Therefore they offloaded their national URL to entrepreneurial media companies attracted by the .tv suffix. This, in turn, helped their government to pay for the costly membership fees required to join the UN, where they are now involved in advocacy for a green agenda, to help mitigate the effects of air pollutants on creeping sea levels.
Don’t you think this is a fascinating insight into how we are connected by different frequencies?
I was amazed when I read the bare facts earlier this week.
I’ve been wondering a similar thing to Dionna. There are times others seem to be on a completely different frequency. I catch myself trying to fit in, but I know it’s my job to find a frequency for myself!
I think I need to get the book as I’ve been trying to ‘fine tune’ my personality for a long time now. It’s wearing to be continually out of synchronization in the place in which I live.
The Tuluvians believe they are out of step with the global North as they are loosing their low lying land to the affects of industrial processes initiated developed minority world nations. I guess in terms of wrong frequency, their story chimed with me.
Sounds fascinating. I’m just curious how God intersects different roadmaps between spouses? For sometimes they seem to be “called” in such diverse directions!
