Mexico City, Piñatas, and Plan B

I left yesterday morning for the much anticipated Plan B Spanish book tour. I’m so excited about the opportunity to travel to cities like Mexico City and Monterrey and share the message of this book.

Before I left I had a fun Friday morning with a Mexican theme which featured, but was not limited to, a piñata in the backyard with the boys. You can watch how that went over…

Yes, there was candy in it, but it wasn’t located in his head. :)

Right now Mexico is facing several Plan B’s from the violence being brought through the drug cartels to a weakening economy. It’s a beautiful country that has hopes and dreams and I can’t wait to see what God does during our time here.

I’m speaking 18 times over the next five days and doing media interviews and book store appearances in between those engagements so please pray for focus and stamina.

Already miss my family but we’re going to work hard, have fun and pray that God keeps opening up the doors here.

What’s going on in your world this weekend?

      - A PRAYER FROM JESUS -

This prayer is from Jesus that we may hear from Him, that He may speak to our hearts. It only consist of three simple steps.

1, We need to read one scripture. This will focus us in the word that brings everlasting life.

2, Since this prayer is from Jesus we need to direct our prayer to Him personally. Too often Christian focuses they’re prayer’s to G_D or Father. Scripture proclaims, that Jesus should be the focus of our prayer.

3, The simplest part of this Prayer is to ask Jesus one question. Please, all that is required for this question is that it should be simple. Let Jesus Himself finish the question when He gives you that understanding through this prayer.

      The PRAYER

      A) The scripture that is the focus of this prayer is “ACTS 2:38″. It’s not necessary to do any study into this scripture. Jesus will give you the understanding that will resonate in your heart. Just read Acts 2:38, keep it in your heart and take this one scripture to prayer

      B) The most important part of this prayer is that we need to direct our prayer directly to Jesus. If you normally would say Father in your prayer, change your focus from the Father to Jesus, by lifting Jesus name up every time you would normally use Father in your prayer.

      C) Maybe the hardest part of this prayer is the question that we need to ask Jesus. For man is always trying to understand the question, instead of listening to the answer. The simplest question is all that is required.
      Simply ask Jesus, ‘WHY’?

      For those who are obedient

I just finished reading PLAN B today. Thank you so much for this Spirit-inspired book. I know throughout my life I will refer back to it again and again.
This weekend was filled with lots of gals laughing and chatting and constructing and addressing wedding invites for my daughter’s wedding in June. Also, this Sabbath afternoon was filled with the fun of playing with 7, 4 week old Springer Spaniel puppies we are raising. 2 remain for sale, any takers? haha
Lord Jesus, I ask that You would protect Pete and his team while they are ministering to the people of Mexico. Send Your angels to surround them and keep the enemy at bay. Open the hearts and minds of the Mexican people to hear about Your glorious works. We thank You for the opportunities that You open up for us to share Your Word. Praise You Jesus! Amen.

Thanks Pastor Pete Wilson for his emotional conference last Saturday, I take a very pleasing impression of you but especially how God is using to carry the message of PLAN B. I started reading the book and hope that God’s blessings continue to fill the entire cross point church.
