Looking For An Easter Series?
About this time every year I start to panic just a little as I begin to think about my Easter message and the series to follow.
I’ve got a possible solution for you if you’re in the same boat.
Hundreds of churches have been doing the Plan B Book as a series at their church and I constantly hear how it’s going great for them. I think it’s one of the most powerful series we’ve ever done here at CrossPoint over the past 8 years and it’s a great follow up to bring your Easter visitors back. The reality is your church is full of people who are trying to make sense of their Plan B’s. They’re asking, “What do I do when life doesn’t turn out in the way I thought it was going to turn out?” If your church is interested in doing a similar series just email me at pete@crosspoint.tv and I’ll send you the manuscripts for the 5 week series.
In addition to the manuscripts, we wanted to give you other resources that will help brand the series for your church if you’re interested. This will include:
-Program Shell
- Postcard Mailer
- Mini Invite Cards
-A series outline which includes programming ideas such a songs/order of services
You may not need or want to use all this stuff, but either way you can find all of it HERE free of charge.
At Cross Point several times a year we’ll do what we call “alignment series.” This is when we have all of our community groups doing a study which goes along with the series. We do this for 2 reasons:
1) It gives people who are not in groups, but would like to be, an easy entry point.
2) It gives our church incredible spiritual momentum when everyone is studying the same thing.
I think Plan B may work as a great “alignment series” for your church and I’m excited to announce that Thomas Nelson just released the small group video curriculum entitled “Putting Plan B Into Action.” You can order it HERE.

Pete sent us his manuscripts and we did the Plan B series as a church last Fall. It was a great series for our people. We also utilized the book as a small group study for an “alignment study” and we had more positive feedback and book sales than with any other series we’ve done. People just connect with this material.
Definitely grab the free resources as well! I don’t think those were available when we did the series and had to create everything ourselves.

I had the opportunity to present the 5 week series to my church and just finished week 5 last sunday. This series was an opportunity for our church to heal. We are currently without a pastor and even thought I am only the worship leader I felt strongly that this series was needed in the life of our church at this time.
