There are few things cuter than listening to my kids try to say certain words. I couldn’t help but capture Gage trying to say squash after he had just woofed down his mother’s squash casserole.
And yes, sometimes I snort when I laugh.

my daughter’s not old enough to say anything yet, but i did just this morning write a post about the funny things tanzanian kids say…
and i’d love some squash casserole right now.
that is so cute!!! i love kids’ early speech.
These are the kinds of things that remind me why I love to be teaching little kids. Preschool kids are highly entertaining! Try spending a day in my classroom with 40 different little ones throughout the day. You’ll be exhausted but I can’t remember another time that makes me laugh so much.
Several years ago we captured our now 16-year-old son on video trying to say “chocolate”. We still love to watch that video.
“Hi, Mommy. I got my chaw-ha-lit!”
Wow, that was quite a “snort”
Very cute. Our children are so precious.
When my son, Uriah, was a toddler, he would reach up with both hands and instead of saying, “I want you to hold me” he offered this irresistible invitation … “Come mere let me hold you!” Got me every time.
I bet.
Too cute! *I snort all the time, too!
I still can’t say Geranimums. So I just don’t say anything when I see flowers, just in case.
Who can????
What a precious video! Im glad you captured the moment on film. Love your laugh! I sometimes snort too.
Very cool! Enjoy it while they are young!

don’t worry…. I also snort when I laugh. LOL
I said “concreek” instead of concrete until I was 12 because my parents thought it was cute.
My 3 yr old son’s new word is actually. “Well actually Mom…” He cracks me up. Love kids.
I snort when I laugh too. Although I don’t have it on video.
I was too busy to watch the video, but I was suckered into it by the snort confession. Worth it.
i think i laughed harder at the snort’s..
I think I do it when I’m trying NOT to laugh.
SOOO CUTE.
My favorite little munchkin i baby sit cannot say surprise she says “SHELBY I GOT YOU A SKUPRISE!” so cute.
and i snort when i laugh a lot, which always causes EVERYONE i’m around to laugh hysterically so i laugh more…. AND if i cover my nose to stop from snorting i make this really loud squeaking sound…. its ridiculous but everyone always seems entertained by it
Can can remember being a kid and not able to say linoleum properly causing my aunts and uncles to erupt in fits of laughter (and snorts).
PS – of course, no one even knows what linoleum is anymore! (snort snort)
