Forever Grateful

I found out this week from my friends at Thomas Nelson that Plan B is going international. I’m so humbled and simply amazed at how God is using this book. While writing Plan B I prayed over and over again: “God please be with those who read these words. May they discover a hope in you in the midst of their hopelessness. May they choose to believe that one day faith will win over doubt, light will win over darkness, love will win over hate, and all things will be redeemed and exist the way they should be.”

It’s so encouraging to see that prayer being fulfilled for people here in the States and around the world.

I’ve been told the book is doing really well in Canada (I’ll be headed up there in August to help promote) and the Spanish version will be released in late September.

It will also be showing up soon in the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany & France.

I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who continue to share the book with friends. While we’re doing some marketing, the success of this book is tied directly to each one of you who continue to share it’s message of hope with the hurting people around you. I’ll be forever grateful to each of you!

Thank you for writing this book as its a critical message, one that transcends racial, geographical, denominational and language boundaries. Looking forward to what God has in store!

So thrilled for you – and all who will get to read it! It has touched my life deeply. I’m excited about the Spanish version because I love to take books with me when I do ministry trips. It’s not always easy to find the books I want in the languages I want. I can’t wait to take “Plan B” with me to the Dominican, and Guatemala!

    So cool!

I haven’t read it yet myself. I’m waiting until the store closest to me has it. I don’t know what their problem is. I really want to see your book on one of the shelves I frequent.

    • Stephanie Newton July 7, 2010 at 11:04 am #

Sarah, what store is it? Send the name my way and I’ll follow-up with our sales team to see what the hold up is.

Continued blessings to you … glad you wrote this book – it’s much needed, Pete. I’m still diving into it. With my husband’s job, our ministry with my music, we’re having a hard time keeping up. And, I’m trying to remain prayerful that God works it all for His good – not ours. Here’s hoping we can focus on the WHY and God will sort out the rest.

    • pete wilson July 7, 2010 at 12:09 pm #

Let us know what Christian stores are around you Lesa and we’ll take care of that. You might also want to check out Barnes and Noble, Borders, or Books A Million.

You can also order it on Amazon as well.

Plan B has changed my life. So many hard truth’s and challenges, as well as some valuable insight and perspective. Between Plan B & Cross Point, my life will never be the same and I’m so thankful to have found Christ!

    Pete,
That’s wonderful!! It’s an amazing feeling/blessing to actually get to see when we get to be a part of His idea!!

    • Pete Wilson July 7, 2010 at 8:17 pm #

My friend Mark says I rather have one God idea rather than a 1,000 good ideas. I think Plan B was certainly a God idea.

  23. Sheryl July 7, 2010 at 1:59 pm #

    Pete,

Just recently “happened” upon your message that your book Plan B was developed from. Then found out about your book. Good stuff man. The last 2 years has not at all been what I thought my life would be at this stage of life. Your message brought so much confirmation in the work God is doing in me. I choose to trust Him. I know He has the best for me. Sometimes it doesn’t look like what I thought and has honestly been heart breaking at times but I am learning to trust with a capital T.

God gave you a timely message and is blessing it!

It’s going to be my beach read!
    Thanks!
    Sheryl

  24. Laura Anne July 7, 2010 at 2:56 pm #

    Yay!!!!

Though your book has already made it to the UK – as both me & Ruth are reading it in Edinburgh, Scotland!!

  25. Ian July 7, 2010 at 3:49 pm #

Pete – major Aussie bookstore in Christian market already has it. I finished it a few weeks ago but I bought it from Amazon (US).

  26. JD July 7, 2010 at 6:32 pm #

It has landed here in Canada…. :o ) Great book, Pete, it is my prayer that it continues to minister to people across the world.

  27. aggiejenn July 7, 2010 at 7:42 pm #

You’re coming to Singapore? Sweet! When? Where?

  28. aggiejenn July 7, 2010 at 7:43 pm #

oh, I read that wrong. I’ll be looking for the book, though!

  29. Zee July 8, 2010 at 7:09 am #

Your book made it to Ukraine too :) It certainly talks about the issues that all people experience, no matter whether they are from the US or from Russia or from the North Pole for that matter. It would be awesome if it would be translated into Russian because then I’d be able to recommend it to my friends (right now I can only share the book with those who know English…)

God bless and thanks a lot.

    Zee

Hopefully a German version will be coming out because the good German folk need to find hope in Jesus and not the World Cup.

  31. Daniel C White July 8, 2010 at 7:20 am #

Oh man, this is so great to hear! It honestly couldn’t happen to a better person or a better family. I know we haven’t had the opportunity to hang much, but I just want to say publicly that Lindsay and I are so impressed at your love, passion and focus you have for the church body that God has entrusted to you. We see your heart and I’m sure it’s hard for you to go out of town on these speaking engagements when you feel that you need to be home with your family and friends, but I say, GO GET EM!!! We appreciate all that you do and know that the Whites are praying for you and your family each day in this busy time of your lives. You’re an amazing influence to us, more than you know.

Pete I just purchased Plan B, but I got it from Amazon for my Kindle. We recently moved and as fate would dictate we misplaced the charger for Kindle so I haven’t reading it yet but from all I have read I cannot wait and the Kindle is a wonderful way to read.

  33. Toni July 8, 2010 at 9:31 am #

    Pete,

Thank you so much for this incredible book. It has been such a blessing to me already and I’m just halfway through after picking it up yesterday. I have already eagerly shared with many who I know need the message of this book. I am praying with you that God will continue to use it to bring hope, comfort, healing to others.

Thank you again to you and your family for the love and time that went into this project.

What cool news Pete – that is just awesome! Now, here’s what I want to know – when are you doing the voice-over for the audiobook version?

  35. Laurie July 8, 2010 at 5:50 pm #

I am so happy for you but even more important…I am so happy for all the people that will get to read your words….

You are an incredible author and have an amazing way of spreading His word.

I am waiting to see if you have any other dates booked up here in Canada. London Ontario would love to see you at one of our churches!

  36. Amber L July 8, 2010 at 8:09 pm #

PETE! I HAVE to tell you…I was waiting to read it until I finish another book…but I was laying by the pool the other day and took it with me…I was halfway through it before noon! It is SOOO good, though I am sorry to say I tipped off my raft and it got a little damp on the edges…that is ok…gives it personality! I LOVE the style in which you incorporated the Scripture…

  37. Jo Pountney July 9, 2010 at 6:33 am #

Hey Pete, Here in the UK at Eden.co.uk we’ve been following your blog and promoting Plan B for quite a while, it’s been in our Chart now for just over 12 weeks, any plans to do a DVD study course or come over to the UK?

  38. Carrie July 13, 2010 at 7:43 pm #

    I am so excited!

I live in Guatemala, and I will definitely want a couple Spanish copies to hand out to people here!

Congrats on the success of your book!

When you’re in uncomfortable position and have no money to move out from that point, you would require to receive the loans. Because it will help you for sure. I take collateral loan every year and feel fine just because of it.
