Eat Your Heart Out Justin Bieber

If you’ve been a long time reader of the blog then you know my kids have shown off their mad skillz on occasion.

A couple of my favorites were when Jett performed a Taylor Swift song and Gage performed the first song he wrote or when he taught us the Bow Chica Wow Wow dance.

However Brewer has yet to really get in on the action, until now. We just celebrated his fourth birthday so I think he’s fair game.

He interrupted my study time yesterday morning declaring he wanted to give me a concert and boy did he ever! Man, I love being a dad.

I now present to you Brewer “Justin Bieber” Wilson. Enjoy and please know you won’t want to miss the dance routine that’s around the 2:44 mark.

He’s such a cutie. I love seeing how uninhibited children are when they are young. Wonder when we lose that?

that is awesome! it took me a long time to learn the rap part (sadly), so i’m very impressed. Wilson dance parties must be intense too. thanks for posting!!

    • Pete Wilson May 27, 2010 at 6:53 am #

He knows about 70% of the rap and mumbles through the rest. :)

Man, Brewer’s workin’ that camera. I think there’s an entertainer in that little guy. Watch out Pete!

    • Pete Wilson May 27, 2010 at 7:34 am #

I’m fully prepared to spend the rest of my life working so he can live in our basement and play music. :)

  7. Kim May 27, 2010 at 7:40 am #

I have the biggest smile on my face. He is absolutely adorable. The only thing that would have improved it would have been dad getting out there and busting a move with him.

    Thanks for sharing!

That is the first time I have heard a Justin Beiber song, and hopefully the last.
But your son has some skills and is a performer. You have to start somewhere.

    • Pete Wilson May 27, 2010 at 9:15 am #

I hate to admit it but I know every word to that song. Not by choice though Kyle.

He’s got more but I won’t let him put them on because they cut off his circulation.

  12. Jan Owen May 27, 2010 at 9:18 am #

So cute! I love videos of your kids. OF course I am certain you’re going to regret this in your old age when they make you pay for putting them on the internet to entertain us all! :)

I’m certain he’s learned those dance moves from someone. Hmmmmm……

    Hey Pete,
My oldest son is 30 today. I am broken. I love him more now than the day he was born. I want to tell you, enjoy EVERY moment you have with your kids. You don’t get a second chance. I have cherished every moment with both of my son’s and have no regrets. I pray that you will be able to say the same in 26 years! Love ya man!

  16. gitz May 27, 2010 at 11:16 am #

Seriously, though… I think he might beat his brothers out in the stage attitude. Might have a little rock star on your hands…

I agree with Amy Nabors, the wonder and sweetness of childhood inhibition is just lovely to watch. The moment that was the highpoint for me though was the high-five you gave him at the end. So cool to see big guy – little guy being themselves together. Precious.

  22. Amy May 27, 2010 at 4:14 pm #

LOL. I think Brewer is cuter doing “Baby” than Justin Beiber himself!

    Two things:

    1. Did you get a book haircut?

    2. Can your wife teach me some mad dance skills?

My kids make fun of me when I ‘break-it-down’ and I could really use some cool points. :)

That was very cute. I found out that I can memorize a whole Justin Beiber song in just 4 minutes.

    “Baby, Baby, Baby….”

It’s been a draining day at work – nothing like a concert from Brewer to melt the stress away – love you Brew!

  25. Andie May 27, 2010 at 5:40 pm #

I giggled and then I got misty. What I think the best part of the video was, is that YOU were there to be a witness to it. I share so many of those special moments with the kids I work with, and take plenty of videos/ pictures for their parents. Their parents can see what happened, but for them the pictures are an idea of what happened, where for you the pictures and videos will be reminders of all the special moments you shared with your boys.

You are blessing your boys with each moment you share with them. Time is one of the only things you can’t take back or get more of. Way to be a Rock star Dad!

  26. Jessica May 27, 2010 at 7:18 pm #

I love your boys! They are so creative and inventive! I laughed through that whole thing, especially the captions. I hope Brandi makes a follow up blog post showing how she can really break dance :-P
