One of my favorite hobbies is yard work. There is something about getting out in the sun, breathing the fresh air and getting dirt in my hands that is absolutely therapeutic.
From planting the garden to seeing emerging colors that have been hidden for months, Spring is one of my favorite times of the year.
Here’s a few pics from my backyard escape.

Since you like yard work would you like to come kill the ivy in my yard it’s over running our grass. Hense the reason why my yard looks nothing like yours

Beautiful!! Pete, didn’t you just state back before Easter that one of the reasons you had kids was for yard work?? You should be giving props and you know it!!! LOL

Ahh i love it! I spent most of yesterday doing the same thing. I tend to encounter God most when i am outside, enjoying His creation. Thanks for the pictures from your beautiful yard to insprire me to continue working on mine! B
I love it!
Hubby just tilled a large garden area in our backyard (Lord bless his back!), of course our 8 yr old helped–sorta, LOL. We’re getting some seedlings for the veggies & herbs today, and we’ll also sow a few seeds ourselves.
Do the boys get to play in your pond? If we had one, we wouldn’t be able to stop our rascal from being in it! LOL.
Got Plan B yesterday, also! Stoked to start it!
A couple of weeks ago we made a Sara-garden (named after our 14 yr old doggy as a memorial, we’ll have a memorial stone my son’s making of her in that garden). It’s a happy place, good memories and when we work or water it, we share memories and laughter about her antics.
We’re excited about today’s planting.
