Freedom From Sexual Sin

I don’t normally do this, but I wanted to share this past Sunday’s message with you guys. We continue to hear such incredible stories from people who are finding freedom from the heavy weight of deep secrets in their life. This message is not about guilt or condemnation. This message is designed to help you find freedom from the destructive force of sin and the damaging lies which keeps us from experiencing sex in the way God designed us to.

If you don’t already you can subscribe to the Cross Point podcast through the links below.

Excellent!! Very powerful, filled with truth and love, everyone should watch this.

This was great – Confession doesn’t hurt people; sin hurts people. What you are really afraid of is not their pain, but your own pain when you confess.

I loved your prayer at the end, too.

Very convicting and full of truth. The church needs pastors that are not afraid to address these issues. Something funny…our pastor used to be involved in college ministry and he said w/ college students, you are always telling them not to have sex, but now, w/ his mostly married congregation, he is always encouraging folks TO have sex….it’s the best picture we have of Christ and the church. Thanks again!

So Good Pete. Listened with Mr. Hubby. Excellent reminders. Struggled with some of these sins…and the secrecy part is always what held me in tighter bondage. Confession is key. So important in breaking the patterns.
I’m going back to listen to this whole series.

Adam and I listened to this the other night, and, hands down, without a doubt, “That’s not procreation; that’s just fun” is THE best line EVER delivered in a sermon. Adam quite literally spat his drink out, and we had to pause it while he composed himself.

Good stuff Pete. You looked a little uncomfortable in the beginning, but who wouldn’t be? I thought it was delivered really well. Great message bro.

Thank you so much for being willing to bring this message. I am finding my way back from a very hard place & one thing I have struggled with is how I got there to begin with. This message was a real eye opener for me. I am looking forward to listening to more of your podcasts.

Thanks… I can see why I kept falling over and again. I never had an accountability partner. I also kept the sin in the dark.

[...] Here’s a link with great potential value to anyone involved with any kind of sexual addiction or blatant sexual sin.   Pete Wilson describes this as a sermon he was reluctant to do, but some amazing things took place when he confronted this topic, and I believe will continue to happen as people view it online.   If you or someone you know is dealing with this issue and is willing to invest a half hour to hear some straightforward talk on the subject, then click here.
