Pete, I am following your posts and listening to a CD that Caedmon’s Call did after they visited. I was truly touched by something they had said and wanted to share it, they said that because of the caste system in India when the people hear the story of a God who loves even the lowest of the caste they are eager to embrace Him. I am touched by that CD, and by the things you have to say regarding your trip. Thank you for going in place of those of us who cannot. We are praying for you in my house at our dinner time. This post reminds me so much of my having been fortunate enough to go on Compassion trips to Guatamala and Ecuador, as well as other trips to impoverished areas. What really amazes me every time is the fact that most of the people there never stop smiling! They know true Joy…which is something I can’t always say for myself. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us!
