Ok… so I pre-ordered your book from Amazon. That got expensive because then I felt I should order Anne’s book “Mad Church Disease”. (Don’t tell her that I stood in the aisle at Lifeway and read through most of it one afternoon. It can be our secret
). Then it told me that I could save on shipping and handling if I bought another book. So, I picked up an R.C. Sproul book that I have been wanting.. “Knowing Scripture”.
So here in the near future I am going to have a Mad Cow that Knows Scripture looking for a Plan B. Ah, dude, I am going to get so messed up reading these together.

Just down the street (I-40) in your neighboring city, Little Rock.
I watched the trailer yesterday on youtube. Just being brutally honest with you, until then I had little interest in Plan B. I had all those prideful thoughts like, “That’s for those other people, not me”.
I watched the trailer and all that changed. I thought back to all the times I had to take plan b in my life:
teenage meth addict
then the marines
discharded medically and unexpectedly
enter full-time ministry, only to face 3 major back surgeries in 5 years
i’ll spare you the story of mine and my wife’s relationship
So, anyway, not that it’s all about me. Just wanted to tell you how awesome of job that trailer did in communicating the heart of your book.

I believe that a lot of us resort to plan B living for the simple fact that we can’t live plan A without God’s help! Pete, I’ve been following your blog for years, and listened to many of your messages from Cross Point. I too have been trying to focus on Plan B. The past few years have been difficult, especially with the relationship with one of my children. I’ve felt terrible this past week…a sinner at best, not loving as God commands. I wish I was only on plan B, I think I am on S or T!!! My daughter had moved out and I was just figuring out what to do with that and then she came home because she is pregnant and the father decided to leave her for some woman he meet online. She is not a believer, I pray for her and little Alex. I know God is my strenght and refuge, I praise Him for the plans I know are sure in Him!!!

You don’t know me but I read your site from time to time. It’s helped a lot the last several months and this video promo for your book brought me to so many tears.
I am in the process of trying to work through my own Plan B’s. I’ve almost thrown in the towel more than once, and most days I feel like I am just hanging on, fixated on so many mistakes I have made, and hurt I’ve caused both others and myself. My whole life has become a Plan B. I know how I got here but don’t know how to work through it.
This promo video really spoke to me and I would love the opportunity to read your book soon. I really believe it could help me and I would read every word.
