A Near Perfect Christmas
If there is such a thing as a “perfect” Christmas this year would probably be it.
After 7 amazing Christmas Eve services we’ve spent the past couple of days just hanging out and enjoying some great quality time with each other.
We spent Christmas morning at home and took off around lunch to spend a couple days here in rural Western Kentucky with Brandi’s parents.
Amazing how time slows down here!
Here’s a few of my favorite pictures from the big day. I’ll post the rest to my facebook within a few days.

Beautiful family, awful brave getting a drum set. My son would love it but my wife would end up killing him. For his own safety he isn’t allowed a drum set.

That hug is my favorite part! I haven’t been home for a few years, obviously, but I was always the family photographer. When the kids exchanged presents they’d hug and there was a delay with my old camera, so when they would hug they’d all yell, “And… HOLD!” so I could get the shot. It became a family tradition
I gave my mom my old camera and am trying to get her to take more pictures so I can still see those moments… those little things are the best part of Christmas
Here’s a scrapbook page I posted last year of the last time I was home making them hug… it’s one of my favorite memories

So glad you had a beautiful Christmas! It was great being able to “be” at Crosspoint for the service.

These photos are wonderfully Christmas, in every sense of celebrating Christmas in the heart: the mood, sentiment, and joy. Merry Christmas – may you enjoy the afterglow this weekend with your boys, as we are with ours (harmonica and piano, but no drum set)

Cushions INSIDE the toms should deaden it somewhat.
