Pyrotechnical Professional
Every year we have some friends and neighbors over for a little 3rd of July party. We’ve been doing this same party for 7 years and our firework show gets bigger every year.
You’re in luck this year because we actually allowed cameras to capture some of the behind the scenes preparation and execution of the big show. Due to a camera malfunction we didn’t capture much of the actual show on video, but we did include a few still pics from last night. Amazingly no fingers, eyes or ears were permanently damaged or lost in the filming of this video.
Make no mistake about it, this IS the largest backyard fireworks display in the Southeast.
Happy 4th of July everyone. Hope you have an awesome time with friends and family celebrating this amazing country we’re allowed to live in!
How did you celebrate the 4th?

Touche sir…..Nicely done. That one guy looked like he almost got nailed in the head with an artillery shell. I am quite envious of this as I love being a pyro with fireworks and putting on a show. I think its time to step things up and make this a Cross Point event next year.

A question and two statement
1. So….this was for the kids, right? Where are they?
2. We get arrested for stuff like that here!
3. That was awesome!

I was honored to be a part of such an incredible firework display. My ears were ringing for hours later. I feel like I’ve experienced some kind of warzone-warrior-soldier kind of camaraderie! Thanks for allowing me into the inner-sanctum. I only added one firework and it was called, “One Bad Mother,” and let me tell you…it was!

That could never happen here on the West Coast–much to my hubby & his friends’ disappointment. Did you all invite the womenfolk & kiddos? LOL!
Just as the fireworks in the vid were being shot off, someone here in my neighborhood fired up their grill, so right on cue your fireworks start and the smell of grill-fire wafts through our house.
You guys are pyros! The envy of all men, LOL! Especially dear hubby after he sees this vid!
Happy & safe 4th all!

@KC, most of the attenders were located safely, several hundred feet away.

Those are definately illegal here. We LOVE fireworks and go to as many shows as we can. We just finished eatting and are waiting for it to get dark so we can do our sparklers and such. Our kids love the 4th as much as Christmas.

Hands down the most fun pastor ever, can you please move to MN? Although you’d spend the night in the slammer for those here, and I would hate for your pyrotechnical talent to go unused, so we will let TN keep you after all. MN will just have to follow your preaching AND antics here. Great video!

Amazing! We went to a local fireworks show last night – it was great, but probably not much different than yours, from the looks of it! We’re BBQing, swimming, and relaxing today…Fireworks are so totally illegal here – they have them in the next county, but I’m too chicken.

Hard to believe it has already been seven seasons since the first 4th of July celebration we observed in the old culs-de-sac! This is the second one that we have been away for. It is nice to see that things have continued to go well and no major injuries reported.

Wow! Impressive! I have to say that as a wife and mother, it makes me a little nervous to watch (kinda like the roof video!). Does it make Brandi nervous?! I know for sure you are making great memories for your boys.
Our weather was not good for the Fourth here in the Chicago area. We watched our town’s parade but did not make it to the local fireworks because it was too wet. I love the 4th of July!

I spent yesterday relaxing after my vacation traveling up the East Coast. But I did get to watch Disney Worlds fireworks a few days ago, and I had the best viewing spot (from my cousin’s apartment) so I got to see the whole thing & avoid the crowds.

Unfortunately here in Oklahoma it poured here and lots of places had to postpone their firework display…but not the ones in the neighborhood behind our creek until 11:00 last night-anyway. I have to tell you that your firework display is now internationally admired. I am in Nazareth for 2 weeks spending time with an Arab family here. They kids (teenagers) in the family watched your video with me and they were just oohing and aweeing the whole time. They loved it and were pretty amazed at all the firework choices in the market!

We biked the 11 mile loop at Cades Cove! And saw 4 bear, alot of deer, bucks and turkeys! Totally getting up at 5 am our time.
Then we went to my mom and dad’s and sat on the porch and ate hamburgers and watched all the boats and jet-skis. No fireworks for us this year. I was too tired by bedtime!

We celebrated the 4th of July but for very different reasons as my husband and I are both 40 this summer. My husband is British and I have therefore to adjust to British customs so we had a big party in our back garden on Saturday with 60 guests, live band and disco afterwards. We had a blast and I even managed to get all my British friends to dance to some of my favourite Spanish music.
Happy belated 4th of July for all Americans!
