Hope you guys all have a great weekend (unless you’re from Baltimore). We’ve got our jerseys on and we’re ready for the big game!

If you’re in Nashville and you’re coming to Cross Point Nashville for the kick-off of the Paralyzed series would you consider doing us a favor:
1) Consider attending the 8:30, 11:45 OR 6:00 p.m. service. You’ll want to stay away from 10:30.
2) If you’re rebellious and do attend the 10:30 a.m. service, would you park in the satellite parking?
Look for the signs it’s just down the street. We’ll send a golf cart to pick you up.
3) Whatever you do, don’t come alone. We really believe God is going to do some amazing things at Cross Point over the next 6 weeks during the Paralyzed series. Go online to www.crosspoint.tv and invite someone now or just give them a call!

does your dog have on a jersey? wow. i’m not sure what to say about that.
Exciting. Most people who don’t know Christ will probably come during ‘prime time’ – 10:30. Going to another service time will free up seats for them. Imagine, when someone who doesn’t know Christ comes through the doors of Crosspoint, God may change their life. I’d give up my 10:30 seat for that. I’m in. However, I live in Oklahoma City
and am a Steelers fan – don’t be hatin’ now
.
I’m just so pumped about this new series for y’all. i’m thrilled to be able to listen and watch!!! Thanks for the new technology!
And…GO TITANS. I’m taking our 8 yr old to see Bedtime Stories and we are going right at noon so we can be back in PLENTY of time for the big game!!!
Praying for your morning tomorrow!!
Can’t wait to hear the messages!
Enjoy your weekend.
Ya’ll look great in Blue!
I hope you all have a great weekend. We’re still disappointed and a bit disgusted up here in Indy. Not sure who to cheer for now. I can’t quite bring myself to cheer for the Titans yet.
what are you feeding that dog? He’s really growing!!
Awesome family picture! that’s a framer.
@daniel d, That’s how we roll here in Nashvegas.
Watch out Ravens!
That dog is too cute to NOT wear a Titan’s jersey. As are the kids. Rooting for your team, hope you got yourself a TV. PS – loving the series!
Oh my heart, if it wasn’t January and if I didn’t know each kid was going to grow a foot, I’d say that is a great Christmas card picture
Just so Bix doesn’t feel silly all dressed up, I’ll put Riley in his best looking blue shirt and cheering the Titans from here…
@gitz, that a girl Sara!
go CARDINALS!
(sorry for your loss buddy)
bummer…
What a great pic of the whole family! …sorry about the loss- I know how you guys feel- I’m a Colts fan!
I”m bummed. Very bummed. Jett actually cried.
Now we’re pulling for the Cardinals. I love Kurt Warner.
Kurt Warner was the quarterback for my college football team. We LOVE him around here… and my good friend was one of his back-up quarterbacks. Which basically means he never got to play…
Off topic–Did you happen to see the piece Fox 17 did last night about the graduate who was paralyzed (from the neck down) and walked for his diploma? That is my cousin, Adam! His faith through the whole thing was amazing. I know your Paralyzed series is about fear, but it reminded me of Adam. Here’s a link to the news piece: http://www.fox17.com/newsroom/top_stories/wztv_vid_5007.shtml
We watched Kurt as a college player here, and he stocked shelves at the HyVee where I shop. He may be a Superbowl MVP and ok, he helped the Cardinals to the NFC title game, but his true measure is his heart for God and devotion to his family. Thank you, Kurt. (@gitz, go Panthers!)
Pull for the Giants. The eagles fans are rotten
Go Giants!!!
@candy: SMALL WORLD!!! Are you Ron’s wife? I am really good friends with Bobbi Earles (used to nanny for Alex). So good to see you here
(Sorry for taking over your blog for a moment, Pete.)
@glitz Shot you an email so we wouldn’t dominate Pete’s bloG
Thanks Pete, for COMMUNITY – can you see what you’re doing here? Awesome. And it all started with a dog in a football jersey
So is Brandi wearing that hat because of that one time you set her hair on fire?
Wow Pete, Bummer about your Titans! They had a great run. You all look great in the team colors though. Well, there’s always next year.
@gitz and @Candy, Feel free to talk away. I love to see people make connections. Makes me happy.
@Kristiapplesauce, for the record, I did not set her hair on fire!
She pulled that one off all by herself.
@Anita, What a cool story. Thanks for sharing with us.
In support of my very favorite wax-free megachurch pastor’s NFL team, I just want to add:
YAY! GO GREEDY TURNCOAT FRANCHISE WHO ABANDONED THEIR FANS IN HOUSTON AND WENT TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER GO!
(Who me? Bitter?)
P.S. – I’m probably like the 777th (holy number) person to say this, but how cute is your family? I’m still up in the air with the whole “dog wearing clothes” thing, but still — you are amazingly blessed!
That’s not what I heard…even out here, rumor travels fast Pete. I bet you even tried to set your dog on fire too or something crazy…those shirts are probably fire-retardant (Brandi’s doing of course). Don’t worry, I already called child protection services. I got your back Pete…I got your back.
Sorry about your loss…
We were also eliminated by the ravens last week (dol-fan)
Surprisingly enough, I am now rooting for baltimore to win the whole thing!
Hey Pete,
I’ve just started following your blog. As a resident of the Baltimore area, I need to extend my condolences to you. Go Ravens (however I am really a Giants fan [for some 51 years] so understand your pain!
Blessings,
Dave
