This has been an exciting week in the Wilson household because Taylor Swift released her new CD. My seven year old, Jett, was one of the first ones to buy it. He was so excited because his picture with Taylor was included in a mosaic of pictures inside the CD.
He’s liked her for a while, but it went to a whole new level this summer when he got a kiss from her. In case you missed the video I’ll repost it below.

Okay, this sounds weird now, but “WHO KNEW” back then?
It was ELTON JOHN. (I was in the 6th grade- my first album)
AT age 30, I saw him live (right after his big “Circle of Love”) hit. 3rd row and center.
I just walked up to the stage where he was talking (No one else was there), handed him my daily calender and he signed it and I got a great CLOSE-UP photo! You can see his nose-hairs!
Regardless of any opinions of him as a person, he is a gifted musician, especially pianist. The gift is still from God. I still appreciate his music.
oh, it was Marie Osmond! I wanted to sing with her so bad! I was 5 at the time! My first poster was one of Vanna White laying on some bales of hay!!

I pictured John Schneider, but the name “Greg Evigan” came out. Something in my heart could not forget B.J. McKay and his best friend Bear. Donny Osmond was probably my first celebrity crush, but soon after was Bo and Luke Duke. It was the first poster my parents let me hang up, and I too kissed it every night, so much so that the paper wore thin! My best friend and I pretended to be married to them, and we spent the night together many Fridays to watch the show together. Even my brothers and cousins and I used to play Dukes of Hazzard! And wanna hear something else very cool? As a photographer, I’ve now been able to meet both of them, and photograph them. I spent a week on a Children’s Miracle Network trip and hung out with John Schneider and Marie Osmond several times.
