The one event that changed my life is getting pregnant with my oldest son at 17. Being a single mom for 9 years before I met and married my husband Rick shaped me into the person I am today – the good and the bad, the broken and the healed, the lost and the redeemed.

My favorite teacher was my Spanish teacher in High School. I didn’t learn a lot of Spanish, but she believed in me and got me to believe in myself.

A: Yuck!!! I don’t drink coffee.

Well, pretty much anything from Starbucks…Iced White Mocha Latte…FTW!!

Atheist are some of God’s favorite children! He loves them very much! I’m glad he loves me too!
What’s your favorite thing to do for relaxation?
I see Pete’s question got skipped in the melee of blogosphere…
and the answer is – BACON ! It just goes so good with so many things. You can’t throw sausage on your BLT and you can’t wrap a piece of steak in it either. However, you can throw it in some milk gravy and come close to heaven… but its still BACON.

I love to go to a local lake and read a book (alone!).

God told me to stay where I’m at. Stick it out. Good things are coming.

Paint I love to paint ! it is also my spirtual gift ,and I get to do it everyday thanks to God. Crosspoint has also given me the chance to bless the Lord and his people back with my talent.
If there is one thing you could change about yourself what would it be ?
I would take a long bath, put on my favorite pjs, and curl up on the couch and read/watch movies.

We like to play Wii together, go on family bike rides, play at the park, and play board games. When we’re going to do something really special (like for a vacation), we go hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park.

I am currently single and sadly just moved away from the ministry I was a part of for 6 years. I’m a product of the foster-care system so they were my family. Hopefully, in the months to come I will find a new church and begin to rebuild my social life.

I’d grab my kids and tell them of lifes importance, because I think maybe they’d listen to me this time….then I’d borrow my ex husbands credit cards and max it out…he’s actually nice about that. although I couldn’t pay him back this time.
If I had one day left on this earth, I would spend it holding my boys and my husband really close, and praying for God to watch over them.

Right now? Dang, um….seriously, I am learning and growing from a wealth of different people. I know this might not be the “right” answer but I am for reals seeing Christ in everyone these days.

I have an official mentor through a mentorship program at church. Her name is Tami, and she is spectacular. Also, my mom and my friends provide mentoring. They are wise on all sorts of issues.

Thankful for a meal? Last night. I eat the same thing every day and my friend came over with take out. I never get to eat out and it was AMAZINGLY good.
