Here’s Your Chance!

Our Gommunity Groups fair launches this Sunday. Ryan Bult and his team have been working hard to get everything ready.

If you attend one of our Cross Point campuses and you’re not in a Community Group, this is your chance! At both our Nashville and Dickson Campuses you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for a group this Sunday.

You can also go online HERE to browse some of  the groups offered. Community Groups represents Cross Point at her best!

On a side note, I saw this video the other day about Community Groups that I thought was hilarious…

Have you ever been in a Community Group before?  What was your experience like?

you’re not following me on twitter, but that’s ok b/c we don’t really know each other yet… ; ) but an awesome career-passion-purpose resource is the book Chazown by craig groeschel. i loved that one. also pastor jeff kapusta’s (lifepoint church, wilmington, nc) podcasts of the series “Shaped” was great.

Yes, I’ve been in a community group before and it’s insane. Ryan Bult is our leader…need I say more?

Actually, we’re about to head out to meet with our group tonight – can’t wait!

Dude, if I can join a Small group full of Jedi’s that can show me how to levitate and use a lightsaber….. that would be totally sweet!

Seriously, I have been in a few community groups at Crosspoint, and each has been different from the other. It was a great way to enjoy fellowship, talk about life, and eat great food! When I was single, Small Group night was often my best night of eating.

Now, back to the lightsabers, can I have a green one?

Community Groups are a super way to be honest and open and practical with your faith while making new friends or growing with old ones. Let me encourage everyone at CP to find a group and jump in. If you have never been in a group just take that first step and give it a try. I promise you will be pleasently surprised.

Now the group I facilitate meets tomorrow night and I am not prepared so I need to get to it. They are a great bunch.

@pete I have Laura Beth in my group so pray for us. :-)

sweet video… although if you close your eyes while yoda is speaking, he sounds more like cookie monster than anyone else…. maybe i’m the only one that got that out of it…

Pete, the link to the small group page is bad. You might want to go with this one instead: http://www.crosspoint.tv/ministries/communityGroups.html

They are listed or you can use the map to find one near you

*promo* I’m starting one using Pastor Mark Driscoll and Dr. Gerry Breshear’s book “Vintage Jesus.” Info is on the website and on my blog! */end promo*

I have been in a few community groups at BCC and at Cross Point. I still have a good friend from the one I started at BCC and the Purpose Driven group from years back was one of the best times I had… including the opportunity to give to one of our members. Such a blessing!

I am very excited about starting a new group. I’ve spent time this week praying over the groups, new members, and veterans of the groups who are reconnecting :)
