From what I have seen of her, I haven't been impressed. I am hoping that what I have seen of her is made up by the liberal media. If it isn't, I am affraid for our future.

A shocking choice for a VP. After months of criticizing Obama for his short time in office (12 years of elected service) McCain choses someone who was mayor of a town of about 5000 and governor of a state with the population of Nashville. Then add the fact that McCain would be the oldest president in history who's had suffered through a couple bouts of melenoma and is on medicine for his high cholesteral. McCain is a true hero and seems like a great guy but this is no time to risk our future in the hands of an inexperienced person who hadn't even been out of the country until last year.

that being said... She blew me away at the RNC. Amazing speech, great timing, poise, humor....spunky and a lot cuter than a pit bull in lipstick.

McCain/Palin vs. Obama/Biden..eh..I like neither. Sad to say, but I don't believe I'll vote this year. It's very disappointing.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! She is real.

As for Crystal, I believe you should support your husband, mine is definitely the head of our household, but I am the head of my business. There is a difference.

People should understand that in I Cor. 14:34-35, Paul is restating a question that has been asked of him, and that he answers that question in I Cor. 14:36-40 in disbelief at the men's audacity that they are the only ones who can hear from God and therefore be the only ones allowed to speak, and, if a woman can be a pastor as stated in II John 1:1 where he is writing a letter to the "elect lady" meaning female pastor, then why shouldn't Sarah Palin be President? (Oh wait, I'm ahead of myself. That's in 4 more years!) Women are ALLOWED to be in positions of authority. In fact, they have to be. Just ask any Mom who has to be the one in control!

Brilliant! In the can I get an Amen kind of way; Genius.

But to the naysayers, the on the fencers and all those who just play follow the leader - please remember when you dig into her family, that she has Volunteered for public service. You know, the job you didn't volunteer for.

And while the news of her daughter Bristol's unplanned pregnancy is a tough blow for her - don't tell me she's the first Christian working mother that did everything right and still had a daughter with a mind of her own.

Lastly and For The Record - all together now - This is a government OF the people BY the people. The masses are demanding perfection that is not available. Let's take the next best thing gratefully, eh?

I cannot believe some of the comments from people (especially women) that believe it isn't a woman's place to be VP! God chose a woman to carry His son and our Savior!

I am not a fan of the McCain/Palin ticket for multiple reasons and although I plan to vote for Obama I don't agree with 100% of his views either. I think that so many Christians need to stop basing who they vote for on one issue and realize other things besides abortion are just as important from a moral perspective!

Several people are pointing out Palin's "Godliness" and I would just like to counter that Obama is a Godly man as well!

I appreciate reading others comments with differing viewpoints, but I think we need to remember that our focus needs to stay on glorifying God to bring more people to Him, rather than constantly arguing about political concerns!

Thanks!

I looked back at this site in order to catch-up on all the interesting comments. It's my desire to stay 'on point' with the topic regarding Gov. Palin. Today I did a post titled...An Interesting "Vetting" Comparison.

Again, I want to express gratitude to the web host for not censoring anyone that is not in 100% agreement with most views expressed here. This is, indeed, rare...and deeply appreciated.

Kindest Regards,

Michelle
