Today we’ll probably hit the 7,500 comment mark here at Without Wax!
I just wanted to say thank you. Thanks for sharing your opinions, your questions, your encouragement, your love, your faith, and your fears.
It’s been a great journey! I never would’ve imagined back in January when this blog was launched that it would develop into this awesome kind of community.

Thanks for encouraging THOUGHT. Sadly, the majority of Christ followers don’t think; don’t question; just blindly accept and/or ignore. Cynical? No, realistic. Most have a cult=like mentality; following their favorite preacher/teacher, “Swindoll said,” “Colson said,” “Moody” said etc. Tahnkfully there is much truth to be had in those corners and others; but putting the two terrible four letter words in action – “time” and “work” – is apparently too demanding for the biblically illiterate masses.
But it is a joy to be challenged to think thru stuff with you; and the family notes and so forth are a joy to read. At this point I can’t remember how I found you (probably Audrey), but I’m grateful to God that I did, and to you for making the time to regularly write.
My kidney’s aren’t going to hold out much longer…
Nor is my heart…
