What’s Your flavor?
I can’t tell you how good it is to be back home. God did some amazing things through our team and I couldn’t be more proud of each one them. I will be buried the next couple of days in e-mails, phone calls and make-up meetings but it was totally worth it.
I took this picture on one of our last days. It’s the Dominican ice cream man…
I saw my co-worker asked this same question yesterday but let’s give it a try…What’s your favorite kind of ice cream?
Mine is chocolate chip. If I’m feeling crazy, maybe mint chocolate chip. I know, I know, I’m boring.

I can’t believe I’m the FIRST one to post on here… you’re SO popular-
My favorite ice cream is Chocolate Marshmallow… I LOVE marshmallow ANYTHING!!!
@OCD You’re always first in my book.
Oatmeal Cookie Chunk by Ben & Jerry!!
Mint chocolate chip from Baskins Robins. They have the best
i love moose tracks.
I love Chocolate flavored Dippin’ Dots ice cream
Peanut Butter and Chocolate from Baskin Robins
You know I can’t pass up commenting on a blog about FOOD! I’m a “nut” for peanut butter ice cream…but love our local ice cream hot spot Mel-o-Creme’s Hot Fudge Sundae made with fat free sugar free vanillia ice cream…I’m not kidding…it’s the greatest!
You think you’re boring, my favorite is vanilla. I will suffer with Butter Pecan or chocolate on anything.
@melissa duncan Melissa’s must think alike. I love only Peanut Butter & Chocolate, and Mint Chocolate Chip from Baskin Robins. Nothing else will suffice. This has been my combo for decades.
@Tommy, you’re right. You are even more boring than me!
Up to just recently my fave was good ole VANILLA(talk about boring). Now I am loving Pecan Praline from Baskin Robbins
Cold ice cream is my favorite!
Let me tell you, this guy in the photo is selling Skim Ice and it rocks, especially after a hard days work in the DR.
@pete I loved spending this past week with you, Anne and the entire Crosspoint team. What a great week. What do we do now buddy?
Strawberry all the way,,, I think a close number two would be Peach flavors, although I really like rainbow shirbert which doesn’t count at all.
I would say any flavor combination that contains chocolate…
German Chocolate icecream. If not…Culver’s…vanilla!!!!
That penguin is awesome! Jamocha Almond Fudge with coffee. Yum
Okay, I’m embarrassed to admit it, but soft chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. It’s a love I carried over from my childhood and have passed down to my own kids
!
Peanut Butter Pandemonium…chocolate and huge hunks of peanut butter…soo good.
Howdy Pete. At the moment mine is Mint N’ Chip from a place out here called Thrifty. AMAZING. Actually the store is now called Rite Aid but they still sell the ice cream. I’ve loved it since I was 6-7 but just recently fell head over heels for it. Probably has something to do with the heat out here. Otherwise the runners-up would be Dreyer’s Rocky Road or Cookies N’ Cream or Oatmeal Cookie Chunk from B&J. Yummy!
i love pralines and cream from baskin robbins!
but you know me, i actually LOVE all ice cream.
Orange Sherbet and vanilla mixed. Awesome!
@brandiandboys, YES you do. And I love that you love it.
I’m with Melissa! I LOVE peanut butter and chocolate from Baskin Robbins.
I like Coldstone’s cake batter with cookie dough mixed in and then covered in hot peanut butter and fudge and whip cream. Yummy!
@Ally, wow girl. Don’t hold back!!
I love chocolate and peanut butter.. But OCD reminded me of my love for Chocolate marshmallow. ugh so stinkin good.
Maggie Moos just opened in Dickson, so I love Dark Chocolate with fresh raspberries (especially when my daughter Sara who works there makes it!)
my favorite’s either mint chocolate chip or the Better Batter/Cake Batter/Birthday Cake (whatever it’s called) at Maggie Moos with one of the fresh fruit mix ins. i don’t eat it much anymore, though, so it’s really a treat when i get to!
Coffee ice cream is the bomb.
Butter Pecan is a close second.
Peppermint.
chocolate chip or sometimes chocolate chip cookie dough. Mmmmmm!!
well if you think you’re boring, i must be asleep already! my favorite is plain old vanilla bean.

Heidi Reed
Peanut Butter & Chocolate from Baskin Robbins or Oatmeal Cookie Chunk from Ben & Jerry’s.
If I can get to a Cold Stone Creamery then it’s Birthday Cake w/ Fresh Strawberries on a waffle cone. Otherwise, my new favorite flavor is:

Chunkey Monkey at Ben and Jerry’s
Wow! 41 responses and nobody has claimed Haagen Dazs – Dulce de Leche. World’s best ice cream. (just barely above Home Made Vanilla from Blue Bell)
same answer as before: ROCKY ROAD BABY!!!
I never really have liked ice cream…until I was introduced to Maggie Moo’s Chocolate Better Batter! It’s like liking the bowl when you’re making brownies! Yummm
I’ve gotta go with brandiandboys, pralines and cream from baskin robbins – there’s nothin’ better!
ooooh ooooh. I can I pick 2? I love cookie dough icecream, and oreo. mmmmmmmmm!
Since I am by nature a ‘smart alec’, I will have to answer this one a little differently. You asked what “kind” of ice cream was preferred (not what flavor) so I will have to say the kind that you can make into a banana split. Or home made….something about a person making their own ice cream that puts it over the edge – unless, like my wife, you forget to add the sugar. Amazingly, that is a necessary ingredient to ice cream.
I don’t know if Chocolate Eruption from Goonies is an actual flavor.. but if it is, it’s my absolute favorite!
I would have to say, Death by Chocolate
I like the “I hope your email is working and this is just me testing it” type.
“fried icecream” flavor ROCKS my world every time!!!
Mint Chocolate Chip all the way…unless I am at Baskin Robbins, because they have the best Peanut Butter and Chocolate ever…okay, now I want ice cream….nice job guys!
Homemade Buttefinger Ice Cream. We’re making some this weekend.
Glad you are all home safe and sound.
@jon mark, Dude I’ve never heard of “fried icecream” flavor. That is crazy. I want to try it. Where do you get it?
Ben and Jerry’s Heath Toffee Coffee Crunch is the jam.
My fav is Cookies and Cream but I also love chocolate chip cookie dough and occasionally just plain ole’ vanilla!

I know I already posted, but just realized Wednesday was actually National Vanilla Ice Cream Day, just in case you wondered, so good timing on the post
Any Ice Cream ~ Any Flavor ~ Yum!!!
Black cherry …… reminds me of my grandfather.
Mayfields’ Moose Tracks or Extreme Moose Tracks
It was a joy to read about your trip. I just came back from doing ministry in the Caribbean myself. The islands are dear to my heart, seeing that I’m from there. I have a friend who takes a missions team to the Dominican Republic at least once a year. Blessings to you!
Hey Pete, I saw tons of pictures from the DR trip and it’s amazing the work Crosspoint helped with. Awesome job!!! Oh mint Chocolate Chip is my favorite too.
