Give up my job which I hated ,but it was more than half our income, and start my own art business. That was 4 years ago and I have never been happier. I get to serve God be at home with my kids and do what God made me to do.

I've been a lurker for a while, but I love reading your blog. Probably the craziest thing that God called me to was to be willing to go to Kenya as a Journeyman. I thought He was nuts! I prayed about it, told my parents (who flipped!) and told my boss that this is what I felt lead to do. I started the application process, but God closed that door. I honestly believe that He was calling me to step out in faith and trust Him. Who knows, maybe one day in the future..?

I don't know if it's the craziest, but one of the craziest things God's called me to do is turn down a job opportunity in Colorado and move to West Texas instead! Colorado or West Texas? Beautiful mountains with trees or dirt, wind, and dirty wind? What was I thinking?

Vicki and Jeff-- the girls have gotten so big and they are SOO pretty little heart breakers! Watch out!

The craziest thing was leaving my job and helping to start up Cross Point. I am not a person to totally leave something and have no money or income coming in but I look back and see God totally took care of me! We serve an amazing GOD because I have grown, learned and done more in the past 6 years. And without that move I my have never met my amazing husband..

God seems to constantly call me/us to do some things that might be considered crazy. The latest is answering the call to take in a 17 year old boy (our friend's son) due to some rough times in their family. It has definitely been a huge learning experience. I'm constantly being challenged in how to handle tough situations, give advice, show grace, empathy, etc. God knows our limits even when we don't!

The craziest thing I felt God calling me to do?
To leave a student ministry where we were seeing lives changed and good things happen, to go get a job as a glorified secretary (doing publications and web stuff) to help a church plant in their student ministry...for free. I serve a crazy God :)

Hmmmm... My answer to the question is not there.

The craziest thing. Write a book. I got A's and B's in English, but I am not the best speller. I feel woefully inadequate to communicate Gods word... But then I look to Noah, and Moses, talk about crazy missions.

Switch/convert to a different stream of Christianity.
I've enjoyed the past few posts...
