Call Me Grizzly Adams

I turned a whopping 34 years-old yesterday!

Brandi asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday and I said I wanted to go camping. So yesterday, after work we loaded up, drove about an hour east, and pitched our tents. It was a nice break from the chaos of life.

Thought you might enjoy a few pics of our adventure!

    Happy Bday Pete! Glad you guys were able to get away for the night. Sometimes that is what you need to just to recoup and head back to everyday life. Have a good weekend!

    Happy belated b-day. We just returned from a wonderful camping adventure in Missouri. Four wonderful nights and five wonderful days of camping beside the Current River at Montauk State Park. I’ll be blogging about it soon. :-)

    Funny story, Pete: I called my Mom yesterday morning and asked her who, within our family, had a birthday on the 10th. She said “no one” and I jokingly said that really, it was many people’s b’day and we kinda dismissed it. Obviously, you are my Brother and that’s why I knew it was someone’s b’day within my “family”. Isn’t that cool?!

    I know you guys had a great time. Isn’t nature great!? Oh, and I met a lady today whose husband is a fly-fishing teacher/guide. Let me know if you want any pointers!

    Happy Birthday!! Your wife was so cool to do that. 34 isn’t old. Your only as old as you think you are. I’m older-be 36 on 9/11. You”re creating some awesome memories for your kids. All while enjoying God’s creation.
    But really…Grizzly Adams was one of my favorite shows.
