Happy 4th of July!

Brandi and I are spending the day getting ready for our annual party. For years we’ve hosted a 4th of July party with friends. Each year our backyard fireworks show gets bigger and better. I may try to get some video for you tonight.

Just in case, I took a little video last night of the kids shooting off their mini firework show. We had a blast!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful fourth of July!

What are your plans?

  1. Happy 4th of July! Did you read my story about what happened to my brothers one 4th? I can never celebrate the 4th without thinking of 1968′s 4th.

Over here in NW Arkansas, we awoke to no power and flooding streets. Weather channel is showing sunny by this afternoon and we’ll probably head out to Beaver Lake for the fireworks show on Rocky Branch Bay. I hope the rain doesn’t spoil the Wilson’s 4th and skirts around TN. We may head over to the Passion Play at Eureka Springs tomorrow. It is a summer tradition for us.

    Happy 4th Everyone! God Bless!

    Loved the video ……. :)

  5. 1) We’re laying laminate flooring. My hubby is home very little so we work when we can! (and I only have two more weeks of sabbatical so weekends are premium!)

    2) We’re cooking out – ribs and the works topped off by blueberry cobbler and homemade ice cream.

    3) Maybe we’ll go down to the river and see the fireworks, sit in the car and make out. :)

  6. Happy 4th! Our town gets hit with an estimated 60,000 plus peeps during this holiday weekend. We’re hitting the streets, shops, and etc.. to share God’s kindness and love. Hubby is being the Wal-Mart Pastor today and tomorrow.. the only Wal-Mart in town mind you. Life is SWEET!

We’re about to head down the road to catch the St. Simons Island fireworks, the Glynn County fireworks, the Jekyll Island fireworks AND, the big one, the Sea Island fireworks. So much stuff blowing up. Cool.

  19. Your party looked fun. My wife and I took in the San Antonio Botanical Gardens and she practiced a couple of Holy Yoga poses and contemplated doing a photo shoot for real next time. God has really been blessing her in the ministry of Holy Yoga to others.
