That is a great story of honesty, even if it is 12 years later. Check out this story of a Virginia couple that found a $40,000 diamond ring and had the strength to return it to Mervis Diamond Importers in hopes of finding the rightful owner. The ring has actually just recently been reunited with the original owner!

Had this guitar that I LOVED and finally had made it my own with the sound. I let a friend borrow it to record with and he left it in his van. Someone broke into it that night and stole that and an amp and the rest of my sound equipment.....equipment didn't matter but the guitar and amp were one of a kind for me.

@charles--I'll front you another one!

As for me, I would love to find the weekend of May 12, 2007 so I could go back and change history.

My wedding rings.

Mine were lost in Feb in the middle of a very rough time in our marriage. God did a great work and we have been able to move past that.

But I have no rings. I am wearing an $8.88 walmart ring that looks like the one that I would like for my hubby to buy for me to replace the ones that were lost.

I'm with stephanie, I did lose my car keys back in October, I was at the Kroger on Hwy 70, and I had them to lock the car, ran in, used the restroom, put my purse down on the floor, and tossed them in my bag, or so I thought, did my shopping, and went to my car, and they were gone!!! I was frantic, happy my car was still there, but upset I couldn't go anywhere. I called my roommate, I was just moving in the apt, so everything was a mess, and tried to tell her where to look, no luck, she came and picked me and my groceries up, and went home. I, then, had to call a friend to come pick me up to take me back to my car (luckily she was still there) and still upset I no longer have a spare set!!!! I would ask the kroger peeps every time I went in for a couple of months, nothing!!! They literally up and disappeared, and if someone stole them, they didn't take the car (and the remote worked, so they could've, but ONstar would've gotten 'em lol)

My husband's journal from 2002. This was the year that God began to redeem our marriage and teach my husband how to walk in freedom from pornography.

When I was younger, I was playing with my grandmother's engagement ring. It was serious bling for my Barbie. Then one day, I went to pull it out of the jewelry box and my mom said I had lost it.

I spent years.. YEARS feeling guilty about it. My granny didn't have many nice things (living in rural East TN) and here I had lost one of them playing... it's a tangible connection to relatives who have long since passed away - my mom and her mother.

Then a couple of years ago when I moved out of the house I grew up in, my friends and I were cleaning out the back bedroom. I pulled this little tupperware thing with a ziploc back in it. I looked inside and there was the ring! I started screaming and hollaring. I was so happy and angry at the same time.

Now, it's in a box somewhere in the spare bedroom and I can't find it. At least I know its there somewhere.

About class rings, my dad was way into metal detecting. I have two jewelry display boxes full of them that I inherited when he passed away. I've thought about looking for the people but that's alot of work.

I'm going to have to agree with Lisa - I lost my sanity sometime in the past few years and would love to get it back!! HA!

Seriously, I have lost so many trivial things but nothing that was nearly as important as losing a chance. A chance to witness to someone or help someone. Lately I've been thinking about how so many people have come and gone in my life and I've missed many opportunities to say things, do things, be things.....Wish I could get those opportunities back.
