Hello Pete from Cardiff UK. I got a link to your site when I posted my latest post which touched on the same subject. Wouldn’t it be a lovely world if everyone counted their blessings. I think a lot of the stress people seem to be afflicted with now is self inflicted by hankering after material goods instead of being thankful for what they have.

About 5 years ago I got up everyday and went to a job I hated. One Sunday I looked really deep and decided I needed to take a leap of faith. Mostly for my sanity and my family. At that moment I promised myself I would never wake up and whine about my life anymore. I was done.
I now have an amazing career and wake up everyday excited for what it has to bring. No matter what the circumstance, I choose to be joyful and happy. Why? Mainly because life is to short to be something other. I have been miserable and everything else followed suit.
When you find joy and happiness, nothing detours a fantastic day and amazing things happen. The things that used to make you freak out become irrelevant. The world becomes a friend.

live with joy today because today is all you’ve got…yesterday’s gone and tomorrow’s not here yet, and when it does come, it’s TODAY!! we only have so many “todays” that God graces us with, so there’s no excuse not to live with joy!

forgive me if someone has already said this and I didn’t catch it…but based on what Francis de Sales said it is my opinion that the people of Denmark don’t give the evil one much footing then. he is the evil one everywhere not just here. We could stand to learn something from them I suppose.
