I can’t wait to see this movie. I was a huge fan of all the Indiana Jones movies growing up. I’ve been waiting a long time for this one. To be honest it’s been several years since I have watched an adult movie (and by adult I mean a non Disney/animated feature) in the theatre. This sounds like a great date night.
What movie are you most excited about seeing this summer?

Already saw Iron Man. I am excited to see Indiana Jones again and of course Batman on July 18th. Tropic Thunder has also piqued my interest.
Man…I love those movies! I finally broke down and let my boys watch all three.
I know, there were some pretty intense scenes, (bad parent moment) but I just had to do it. After they saw the first one, they went outside and proceeded to make their own whips much to my dog’s dismay. How many of us wanted to become archeologists when we grew up after seeing Raiders? “Snakes…why did it have to be snakes!?”
I thought it would be cool to be an archeologist as well Ian. Then I met a few and it wasn’t so cool.
I am with you Pete…I can’t wait to see this movie. My wife is more excited then I am, she digs some Harrison Ford. I am glad he is getting old or I might be in trouble.
We can’t wait!! We saw “Prince Caspian” yesterday after church so that one is marked off the list of “must see movies”. I’m want to see Batman as well! Our son wants to see that robot movie….Wall*E. It’s Pixar so I’m hoping it will be clean! You just never know!
All I can say is……with gas at nearly $4.00/gal….I’ll be waiting for the video on everything.
THIS ONE!!!
I am looking forward to seeing it this weekend too! Saw Ironman this past Sat…..it was great! I still want to see Speed Racer. I was a big Speed Racer fan as a kid.
ME TOO! ME TOO!!!!! We watched all 3 of the trilogy yesterday and I’m so ready for the new one to be out. I’m a HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Harrison Ford fan!
yes i am definitely excited too
Ben Stein’s “expelled”…it’s out, but i haven’t seen it yet
I think this is definitely going to be a good movie summer. We saw “Iron Man” last week – which a must see (not for little kids..too much violence.) Prince Caspian is on our list too – but Indiana Jones is by far the one my hubby and I have both been waiting for…Who would have thought 60 year old Harrison Ford could play Indy one more time, but we are exctied!
I’m with you there man… I can’t wait to see Indy 4. Also The Dark Knight, Get Smart, and Hancock all look awesome too.
I am excited about this one as well. The last movie in theatre we saw was the Veggie Tales one and we left after 45 minutes. I am most excited to see Fools Gold (I know it’s already out of theatres) but that one has been on my list for a while now.
Pete,
We need to talk about your “adult” movie viewing.
Been waiting to see this ever since it was first announced. Next up is GI Joe in ’09.
A-Team is coming out next year. That is on my must see
This is a tough one.
Its a toss up between Indy 4 and Batman “The Dark Knight.”
I just got the Indy Trilogy at Goodwill for $3.00! I’m catching up on them before this one releases. The special effects are funny!
Indiana Jones….I am there…The reviews are even good….
My wife and watched the first two last week and will see the 3rd this week, preparing for the big event. I want to see the dark night.
I also can’t wait for this movie to come out!! On another subject, just wanted to let you know Pastor Pete that you are one of a few people that inspire me in Ministry!! I’m young brother in training and i pray one day, the ministry God gives me can inspire others just like you have done for me. The brewster wrote a blog about letting individuals know that inspire you!! And your one!! Keep up the good work!!
DEFINITELY INDIANA!! im going on friday night, sooo excited
also the new batman movie and the one where adam sandler is a former israeli army guy turned new york hairdresser haha!!
My husband and I are introducing our 8 yr old son to Indy on video this month so that we can go see The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull together! Unfortunately we have to wait longer than you because it won’t be out in Italy for awhile!
I am looking forward to Indy, but more so…I cannot wait to see Prince Caspian. I loved Chronicles. My daughter is soooo anxious to see Indy. She has a sudden interest in Harrison Ford now. The man that was ‘sooooo old’ has suddenly become ‘soooo hot’. Yea.
BABY MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it’s been out for awhile, but because my husband will NOT go see this type of movie, I’ll have to find someone who will, hey Pete, wanna go???????
Pete, I’m looking forward to seeing it with a buddy at midnight on Wednesday (yeah, I’m that guy). I hope a grown up Short Round makes an appearance! Hold on to your potatoes!
Pete…just to let you know, your blog was being highlighted on the front page of WordPress.com today for this post under the Entertainment category! Now you are big time with your 6 readers
Yes Sir!
I can’t wait to see this movie!
Dialog with my wife went like this:
me – I am so excited to see this movie, let’s go!
wife – YOU can go.
Looks like a boys night out
We just went to Disneyland last week and this ride is one of my all time favorites! Can’t wait for the movie!
“Indy….why does the floor move?”
LOL
I love Indiana, and am only disappointed that Sean Connery won’t be back as Indy’s dad.
“We named the DOG Indiana!”
Can’t wait, can’t wait – hope it’s not a flop.
