The highlight of my weekend was having my grandparents in town. Grandma and Grandpa Graham (my mom’s parents) were passing through Nashville. They are on their way from Florida, where they winter, back to Toledo, Ohio, where they live.
I have a hard time keeping up with my grandparents. Hovering around 80, they are still some of the most active people I know. Here’s a picture of me playing Grandpa in a game of baseball on the Wii. I also had a twenty minutes discussion with him about Twitter. Like I said, he’s not slowing down!
I also wanted to say a belated Happy Birthday to Grandpa Wilson (picture below) who turned 80 earlier this year. My grandparents read Without Wax every day. I think that gets us up to 6 readers a day, counting my wife!

I miss my Grandparents terribly…so I LOVE reading things like this!
“6 readers”
whatever!
Dude spare us the 6 readers garbage. In the time it takes you to get in triple digits, I may be sniffing 6.
I love watching “seasoned people” playing Wii, who won by the way?? You are blessed to have them in your life.
6 readers yeah right!?!! it’s a daily supplement for me.
I won Heidi, but only because I didn’t really tell him how to play
After Brandi beat me in the “hold your breath” contest my ego couldn’t handle getting beat by my 80 year old grandpa at Wii.
Six readers a day? I’m honored to be one of them, then! LOL! I kind of found your blog by accident, and I read it almost daily. I, too, am fortunate enough to still have my grandparents, although they’ve slowed down a bit at 84 ans 80. I go to a church in GA…check it out at http://www.stevenscreek.net. Keep on blogging!
I’m going to punch you in the neck!!! You fart and 6 people run to your blog to smell
Great post about your grandparents! Cherish them…My grandpa got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s late last year…it sucks watching him become a person that he’s not.
Kim K…Cool, I live in Evans! I have friends that go to your church.
Well than we are an elite crew if there really are only 6 of us reading!
p.s. Do I need bifocals or is your font super small?
